Greg Lum is an accomplished, award-winning photographer specializing in outdoor adventure, lifestyle and travel imagery. Growing up in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, his work is heavily influenced by the adventurous and spontaneous culture found on the West Coast.
With a passion that runs deep for adventure and outdoor recreation, Greg’s visual storytelling is both authentic and proficient. His photographic style leans on capturing the essence of characters, the raw and untampered side of our natural world and healthy environmental human interaction.
The push for human-powered means in the creation of his personal work is an effort to promote authenticity and letting genuine moments in the mountains unfold naturally in-front of the lens. His collection of work in the great outdoors are routinely capture un-planned - an ode to simply being the right place at the right time.

Equipped with a diligent, goal-oriented and project-based approach on life, Greg continues to push the boundaries of his own capabilities both behind the camera and out in the mountains. He currently lives in Squamish, working on commercial assignments, engaging with clients, editing work and chasing the dream.
In the summer, you can find Greg hiking, trail running and climbing in the mountains around his home. In the winter, you’ll catch him touring in the backcountry or cracking jokes on the chairlift in the resort. For all twelve months of the year, however, he’ll have his camera always in hand, ready and looking to capture the meaningful moments, the smiling faces, and everything in between.
